1st, get rid of the gas engine.
The old perfectly running engine that was removed. (4 cyl, 4 carb, dual overhead cam)
Test fit of the diesel into the factory frame..

The following is a shot of the rear install... Function first - pretty later..

July 4th, 2005. Real world cruising speed is 50 - 60 mph. Most folks say it has a sound of it's own although some have said it sounds "mean", "rumpety", or "like a school bus".?!
Fuel economy: 104 plus mpg! (Over 300 miles per tank!) This is running it fairly hard around town, hilly-twisty camp roads, and on open highway.
Had to modify weights in clutch and added a pyrometer.
The completed bike less mirrors, belt and some trim stuff...

Added some "Diesel Emblems and decals" to give the bike a "Factory Look"!
Note missing factory muffler - now running a straight pipe! Videos links at bottom of page provide a snappy exhaust sound!

Videos of the Suzuki Motorbike in action!!!
(** Bike has over 7000 miles since July 05, 2005 and is averaging 115 mpg!)
Driving by pyrometer at about 1000 degrees will significantly reduce smoke.
These videos were mostly shot during hard throttling to show smoke.
If Windows Media Player pops up to play these videos, go to "View", then "Video Size", and set it at 100%. Using the 200% yields a "grainy" video and you can't truly appreciate the uphill smoke out!
